At Last! A Mechanic You Can Trust
If you’re looking for a cheap car service in Auckland, then you’re probably doing so with a degree of wariness. It seems that most New Zealand motorists don’t have a great deal of faith in mechanics if a recent survey is anything to be believed.
A Kiwi tech company has just done some research on the most trusted professions in New Zealand and it showed that emergency services, doctors, pilots and teachers rank highest. Meanwhile, politicians are near the bottom of the list. Surprise, surprise!
But what caught our attention in our mechanical workshop was what people thought of mechanics. Let’s just say it was a frustrating experience for us. The study revealed that 55% of New Zealand motorists struggle to find a trustworthy mechanic. It was worse in Auckland, where a whopping 66% of local motorists said they had trouble finding a mechanic they could put their faith in.
In many ways, we can understand why. This is an unregulated industry and there are some mechanics out there doing dodgy things, like sneaking hidden costs onto the final invoice, or just doing a very shoddy job on the vehicles they work on. That is annoying to us because we like to think we represent the good side of the industry. We’re honest, affordable, reliable and we are very upfront when it comes to price. We’re proud of our team and just as proud of the work they do, and the service they provide. But don’t take our word for it. Check out what our customers say about us. At the bottom of our About page, we’ve included a lot of authentic and genuine reviews from our happy customers. They’ve trusted us to do a good job for them in the past, and we’ve repaid that faith by doing exactly what we said we would.
It’s important you do your research when you are looking for a mechanic. You need to find someone you can trust, even if the survey suggests it might be a struggle for you! After all, your vehicle is a big investment for you so you want it looked after properly and kept safe for the sake of everyone travelling in it. We encourage you to take this cautious approach as there’s a lot riding on it. But while the survey suggests that most of you struggle to find a mechanic you can trust, there are still some good guys in the industry – and we think we’re one of them. We invite you to come in and check us out and make up your own mind!
